Stop Turning a Blind Eye

In light of the recent headlines regarding certain sexual abuse scandals (we all know what those are, so need to go into it here) I'd like to stress the point of accountability.

ANYONE who has first-hand or second-hand, or ANY knowledge whatsoever that a child is being victimized in ANY WAY and fails to report it or stop it should be held accountable because they are JUST AS GUILTY as the ABUSER. It's time that we stop treating our children like second class citizens not worthy of our defense and protection.

Migraines Are Thieves

As a migraine sufferer since childhood, I sometimes wonder how many hundreds (thousands?) of hours these monsters have stolen from my life. I probably wouldn't want to know. Family functions, time spent with my children, work, play, have all been casualties of my migraines.  What have you missed?
